" - Je voudrais avoir une grande galerie pour mes œuvres ! "

Giulia Pintea

“I want to have a big gallery for my works!”

Biography

From a very young age she always had with her a pen or a pencil to scribble, draw and play with colours. Her greatest passion : the sea.
Giulia Pintea born in January 5, 2011 - Italian/Canadian citizen, she left her hometown Monza (IT) and moved with her parents to ⁰French Riviera - Villefranche sur Mer (FR) in July 2014 in a house with a sea view.
The new frame of this house and the presence of its owner, Mr. Lance FUNSTON, an art collector and lover of painting himself, influences and develops hera spirit towards art.
In May 2017 (at the age of 6) she was touched and impressed by the « Picasso » Museum in Antibes where she exclaimed « I want a big gallery like this for my paintings! ».
Destiny interned and she met the painter artist José CURTI that same day who passed on to her the passion of mixt, abstract and figurativ painting, He gave her ideas and techniques for using the spatula, brushes and other tools. It is a pleasure to watch them together immersed in colours, joy, music and dance.
The synergy between the two artists and the teachings of José CURTI lead Giulia PINTEA to present her first exhibition « The Sea, Diamond of my heart » at the age of 6 with a dozen of paintings at the « Atelier Passion » in Old Nice, France. At the age of 8th, Giulia Pintea started to be in the focus of the French media during her exhibition "Sailboats' Words" at Saint Elizabeth Gallery in Villefranche sur Mer (FR) from 8th of February to 9th of March 2019.0
She is an energetic artist who speaks 4 languages and loves also the theatre, ballet, acrobatic circus and piano.
José Curti's review: " Giulia is an intelligent little girl with an ability to transform and interpret in her artistic way. She has a strong character that plays in her favour. For me, she is a great artist despite her age".
Up to today she participated to few collectives exhibitions in French Riviera as "Pictural 2019" in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat (April 2019) , "41eme Salon National" in Antibes (May 2019), "Ro-Art" Cannes (May 2019) and "French-Romanian Business Saloon" (September 2019).
